It certainly seems like it’s true when you learn there are between 600,000 and 1,000,000 books published each year in the U.S. alone.
But not everybody is writing a book for public consumption. Some want to write their family story, have a handful of copies printed and give them for Christmas gifts. Some write to establish themselves as an expert in their field and hand out books at conferences, or to clients.
Of course, there are those of us hoping to write a best seller too.
If you’re one of those people who’s tossed around the idea of writing a book but have no idea how to go about it, I have good news.
Plan, Plot, Polish, and Publish – Taking your book from concept to print.
These FREE workshops will be on the second Wednesday of each month from May through August at the Katie Wheeler Library in Irvine, Ca.
On the first night we’ll be covering topics like:
- What kind of writer are you?
- How do you know what your genre is and once you do, what are its rules?
- How do you schedule your writing time?
- And, I’ll be giving you my own personal check list to help you evaluate the popular books in your genre.
